Jane Lu
,emerged as a new singing sensation when she won the New Talent Singing Award Toronto Audition at the age of 15. She represented Toronto to compete in the International New Talent Singing Contest in Guangzhou, China. As one of the youngest contestants in the contest, she achieved the second runner-up award and became the first Toronto contestant to win an award in this International singing event. Furthermore, she is also the winner of numerous large scale singing contests, including Grand Cathay Singing Competition, International Minnan Singing/Song Writing Contest and China Central Television CCTV ‘Starlight Blvd’ idol competition. Jane has been awarded as the champion of the 2009 ‘Sing for Your Heart’ Young Asian Singing Competition. Jane continues to be a very active performer, emcee and vocal coach, her first ever self-composed album was also very well received within the Chinese community. With her new radio show here at A1 Chinese Radio, she will continue to bring and share great music that will delight both young and old.
